Having many good workouts & training sessions in a row now. Body & mind feels good & even though I´m still kind of semi limping,I don´t consider my self to be in “injury status” anymore. I would say I´m in a “build up” status

Back & forth… Running in the water with a “WETWEST”. Great cardio workout, but also really good way to get a decent blood flow in the lower leg!!

Not at my power peak yet, but it won´t be long now

I absolutely need to work on my fighting face…

Once again, that fighting face is not really a killer one.

Throwing lots of reps to get that muscle a deep & nice workout!
My calf is kind still messing with me though. But I´m on the deep tissue massage program & as you can see, I´m also trying to be as active as I can to get this leg back into monster shape!!

Hans, you are just too fu*king amazing! ! ! ! To think that 2 months ago you were laid up with 2 broken pipes in your right lower leg and look at you now! ! ! ! VERY IMPRESSIVE ! ! ! ! And your attitude has been remarkable toward getting back in shape.
Sheese, I leave for vacation, come back 2 weeks later and have quite a bit of catching up to do…….holy moley…..you have been biking, hanging out with that hat stealer, aka Beat Fuez, and working out like no body’s business, as if you have never been injured! ! ! WTF? LOL
Yes, the ‘fighting face’ needs a little work but that will come as your leg gets stronger. I can’t help but feel there’s some trepidation on your part that you may re-injure that meat. Just keep doing what you are doing. It’s looking like this will be a meteorological rise back to top form! ! ! !
The guys on the White Circus better watch out. Our Lionman is gonna be smokin’ and raring to go! ! ! ! YAY!
It isn’t going to take any time at all for that right thigh to grow at the rate you are going. And you are right, size does matter in Lionman Land.
HAHAHA! ! ! !
Hans,
where are your new socks??

I’m taking big notes right now. Nothing better than a lionman giving the good example and being a true inspiration for a fast recovery. And as you know, I’ll have some recovery to do.
Note 1: get myself a wetwest and throw myself in the water as soon as I can and get that blood flowing in my leg.
Note 2: train myself a killer face

Looks very good, all the best for the upcoming sessions!! Any plan to try out the first carves in stubai or so?? Although I know that this thing lasts…….have a nice summer
Hans great to see you being so positive in your rehab. Look forward to seeing you back on the circuit next year. Mind you looking at the programme, the FIS appear to have taken a dislike to all the events you compete in – more boring technical events than exciting speed eventsnext season it appears.
What do you think about it?
missing your newest updates!
Schwedisch kopf stuck im arsch?
Hans, where are you!!
No new posts, I worry!
Lionman hidden in a cave?
cheers!
Missing the blog Hans! would be great if you could get something up?!?
I just got an email from Hans. The real Hans? I can’t be sure, you all be the judge:
Dear fans: You may have noticed I have not published any new posts on my blog for quite awhile. It is because I have been very busy with my new career change. I have decided to hang up my long downhill racing skis and speed suit for short ballet skis and a fancy sequined ski-dancing costume.
It is not an accident that in the past I referred to the piste as the “dance floor”. This is because my true love has always been twirling and spinning on skis like a Russian ballet dancer. Downhill racing was just a way to make some spare cash and make the necessary connections to turn my ski-dancing into a full time career. The thrills of The Hahnenkamm are nothing compared to swishing gracefully across the world’s great bunny slopes.
This winter I plan to make my dream come true and invite you all to the first “Hans Olsson Invitational” ski dance-off and disco hoedown. Please support me in my new career direction.
Sincerely, Hans “The Snow Artist” Olsson.
Damn, even the jokes seem to be unable to bring Hans from wherever he is. I hope everything is ok, but this silence is worrying me!!!
look at jon’s site, he’s still around.
So the upper mail is just somebodies stupid joke?? I thought Hans would post about end of his skiing career on his blog, wouldn`t you, Hans?
Take care! and write soon
