I´ve become a SWECANNOR!

A great time, with great people & great moments has come to en end. My coaches Alouis Prenn & Helmuth Krug are no longer working for the Swedish ski federation. The two of them has quite often been contacted by other nations & I know they have been offered really attractive offers! So I must say I have been extremely lucky to have had these guys at my side for so many years, not only for their amazing coaching skills & knowledge about ski racing, but most of all for their great personalities & for always being their wether its been good times or bad times!

Me & friends in Sarntal, sometimes I refer to them as my coaches :)

I don´t want this to sound like a goodbye letter, Helli & Alouis have not died, they have just changed the channel on the team radio & been given other clothes. They, just like me, will still be around in the world cup.
How ever I still want to this moment thank these guys for everything they have done for me & my skiing career ( not to forget what they have done for the entire Swedish ski federation & all speed skiers in Sweden).
Its been an honor serving under your command :) !

I have become a SWECANNOR.

So what does that mean?? I´m going to team up with Norway & Canada! Or to actually be honest, Norway & Canada is teaming up with me ;)
I will be training & skiing together with NOR & CAN & I will have Ulf Emilsson from Sweden at my side!
I really feel good about this new & fresh setup & I´m looking forward to be part of a bigger team.
Now I just got to make sure my titanium enforced leg, will work & give me fortune in the slopes!

/Hans

  1. I think this is good for you to have that many top worldclass skiers around you with Aksel, Jansrud and all of the Canadians that all have the potential to win any DH race on the circuit. This will be a boost and I’m really looking forward to the next season already. Who besides you of the Swedes do you think will be part of this speed team? Do you see any upcoming youngster that you can hint about?

I´m trying to get Matts Olsson over to the Speed section. Also Keep your eyes on Douglas Hedin, he impressed me a lot at the europa cup finals! I also hope that Daniel Ericsson can come out & show how good he is!

“…always being their wether its been good times or bad times!”

    They are the best people!

  5. The shot caller

That Juice endorsement deal was amongst the smartest things you have done in years the other thing was moving to austria and living at a higher altitude

it is our attitude not our aptitude which delivers us to high altitudes

The Shot Caller for 11 years about 5 days a week (would be more but I have led a lifestyle and some places around the world don’t have organic juice)

    anyway Lionman

I drink 2 oz of freshly squeezed freshly cut wheatgrass within 2 minutes of it being cut and a 16 oz of double parsley ginger beet chard kale cabbage brocolli spinich and one carrot with tip cut off they usually add some celery too

and average 3 oz of aloe a day

no if you could get off pasta white bread and white rice but we know that makes you happy

Great move Hans and the same goes for the company
WHAT A SUPER SMART COMPANY FOR ENDORSING YOU THEY ARE LUCKY

A PREDICT MASSIVE SUCCESS FOR THIS COMPANY AS LONG AS THEY DON’T TRY TO CUT CORNERS

PS I AM WAITING FOR YOU TO SEND ME SOME OF YOUR OLD BLACK UNIQ GOOGLES
I do give you world class advice 8 out of 10 shots and am a loyal devoted lionman fan and lets not forget I do call shots-smile

    Please and Thank you

Way to land on your feet Hans. A bunch of competitive teammates and a structured team will put you back in the game and on your way to the top. Here is to the first three-nation podium from your new team.

oh, wait, it’s gonna be legendary!

Can-Nor/Nor-Can always seemed like a cool team collaboration so I am sure now it will be even cooler.

    shouldn’t it be Lioncannor?;-)

Sorry to hear your friends are moving on but teaming up with the other teams can only be a great move for you. Working with a couple other small teams that have hungry racers pushing each other in training will surely sharpen your competitive edge and training with Olympic and World Champions will show you what it takes to win. Congratulations! Just be careful when you go drinking with the Canadians…we know how to put ‘em away, and we sometimes get in trouble when doing so. ;)

  9. Too bad Alouis and Helli are no longer team TBS coaches. The best of luck to them with their new challenges.
Teaming up with the Norwegians and Canadians looks like a very smart move. But watch out when building snow statues in front of the Fairmont in Lake Louise ;-)

How long will it take till you can get back on skis. Is this a matter of days, or more like weeks?

    charge it,

Believe it or not, I penned a good reply to this post the other night, lost my internet connection and therefore all of my words of wisdom. I was so pissed it was hard to get to sleep afterwards. THAT is my story and I’m sticking to it..!!!

OK, let’s try and reprise some of what I said. I think it is great you will be training with the Cowboys and the Vikings. After all, it was Svindal that piqued my interest in you and therefore sent me over here about 1.5 years ago. He said something about you ‘praying’ in the church waiting for the bib draw at the Bormio downhill…LOL :) Anyways, I am happy you will be training with 2 teams that will give you constant feedback and help you transfer all those winning ways from the training runs to the races! ! ! YES indeed !!!!!!!

So, I see you have tweeted you are in the lead in the World Cup Recovery arena. Loved the pic of the outside but it is the inside of your meat I wanna see….can you oblige me? LOL You know a pic is worth a thousand words, Lionman ! :)
