Sunny bike ride.

It was time to go for a first official bike ride today, or I´m actually not sure if I was really ready for that, but with 31 degrees in Innsbruck today, it was a total “no go” to hit the gym!

Breakfast at the Lion crib, while keeping an guarding eye over Lionman Land :)

Waiting for my company in Telfs. I must admit that I was a little bit unsure of how this was going to work out with the leg!

My TREK Madone ready to go!

MY company: Old coach / good friend FLO/FLORIAN/FLOXI/ Winkler! Nowdays coaching Austria WC Women!

Halfway Café! Feeling a little bit tired in the calf, but other wise fine!

Happy guys in the sun!!

A very happy & satisfied guy after a 2 hour bike ride! I really didn´t think that it was going to work out that good, but it did :) I did how ever feel the calf quite a bit in the end , but now it feels kind ok again!

Its time to hit the gym tomorrow, regardless the extreme temperatures in IBK now days.

Love the look on your face in the last pic ! Your enthusiasm is wonderful and so is your outlook. So happy to hear it was a good ride and that you had company to chat, keep pace with, and ‘coach’ you along the way!

What a BEAUTIFUL view of Lionman Land you have from home! I don’t think I would ever go inside….lol…. It’s gonna be even better in the new place!

Are you weight bearing on your leg? I mean are you walking on it? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but one can bike ride and not weight bear per se.

Once again, thanks for thinking of us along the bike ride today and for taking pics and keeping us updated. You’re looking GOOD ! :)

anyway don’t forget to jump in the hot springs and don’t forget to get deep tissue massage especially your calves and feet

keep us posted along with your times doing your mountain biking

    back to you Lion man

After all the times you have posted about deep tissue massages I took your advice and went to get one. It was ok I guess, but I was a little upset when the pretty masseuse asked me for more money for something she called a “happy ending”.

I guess in this case “deep” means “deep pockets”. Harumph.
